Until recently, getting IP assignment, change of address, and/or change of name costs has been a painfully manual process, taking a large time commitment from a resource on a mostly non-billable project. Several of our clients asked if we could help streamline this process in a meaningful way.
We took this on and with a little feedback over a few weeks, we created IP Forecaster for Recordals. For both Patents and Trademarks, with just a few clicks, you can get single or multiple recordal costs in seconds! Best of all, it’s included for all IP Forecaster users at no additional charge.
Let’s dive in!
IP Forecaster: Recordals
With a new Recordals section on your homepage, you can click on the Patent or Trademark button to load a user-friendly and familiar forecast screen.
Like all other options in IP Forecaster, you can export, save, see recents, etc., on your recordal forecasts.
On the recordal forecast screen, select one or multiple recordal types, as many countries as you desire, then enter the number of recordals. Enabling the ‘Update recordals per country’ switch allows you to fine-tune the numbers as needed per country.
Additionally, you can set your language and choose from any global currency you would like to see in your results. Clicking on the Create Forecast button instantly generates your results.
Have a spreadsheet of countries and recordal counts for a portfolio? Simply click the Upload Excel File button on the right, select your spreadsheet, and Prokurio will select all your countries and enter all of the counts automatically for you. Click on the Create Forecast button, and in seconds, you have generated the costs forecast for the entire portfolio!
