The Prokurio team will be out playing in the new snow next week, our offices will be closed on Dec 26 and Dec 30.
MAURITIUS JOINS PCT
On December 15, 2022, the Government of Mauritius deposited its instrument of accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) with WIPO’s Director General, making it the 157th member.
The PCT will enter into force for Mauritius on March 15, 2023.
FEE UPDATES
Madrid Trademark Filings and Renewals – Effective January 1:
Canada Applications: 255 Swiss francs for one class of goods or services and 77 Swiss francs for each additional class, when designating Canada in an international application or subsequently;
Canada Renewals: 309 Swiss francs for one class of goods or services and 96 Swiss francs for each additional class, when renewing an international registration in which Canada has been designated.
