Kenya Announces Changes to Individual Fees for Madrid Trademark Filings

Kenya has introduced updated individual fees under the Madrid Protocol, affecting trademark applications, subsequent designations, and renewals where Kenya is designated. The changes take effect on April 12, 2026.

 

Application Fees
The individual fees for applications and subsequent designations are set to decrease:

  • Standard marks (one class): from CHF 312 to CHF 268

  • Each additional class: from CHF 223 to CHF 192

 

Renewal Fees
Renewal fees will decrease as follows:

  • Standard marks (one class): from CHF 178 to CHF 153

  • Each additional class: from CHF 134 to CHF 115
