OAPI Confirms Revised Individual Fees for Madrid Trademark Filings

OAPI has confirmed changes to its individual fees under the Madrid Protocol, affecting applications, subsequent designations, and renewals. The changes take effect on April 12, 2026.

 

Application Fees
The individual fees for applications and subsequent designations are set to decrease:

  • Standard marks (one class): from CHF 572 to CHF 503

  • Each additional class: from CHF 119 to CHF 105

 

Renewal Fees
Renewal fees will decrease as follows:

  • Standard marks (one class): from CHF 794 to CHF 699

  • Each additional class: from CHF 159 to CHF 140

  • Grace period surcharge: from CHF 207 to CHF 182
