IP FINANCIAL FRIDAY
21 APRIL, 2023
HAPPY EARTH DAY!
One of the cool things about intellectual property is its global reach and potential impact on the world. We want to give a quick shout-out to the global community of scientists, entrepreneurs, and students innovating and advancing promising technologies in areas like sustainability and clean energy. IP is often viewed through the lens of corporate profit, but Earth Day reminds us that there can be powerful non-financial benefits from intellectual property as well.
SPEAKING OF SUSTAINABILITY…
The European Patent Office invites members of the public to provide feedback on its upcoming Strategic Plan.
The EPO has a specific goal for the upcoming plan: sustainability. (we told you so…)
It will be focusing on the people, technologies, and services that will contribute to a sustainable patent office, a more sustainable patent system, and, ultimately, a more sustainable society.
