INAPI Updates Patent & Trademark Fees for 2026
Algeria Updates Official Trade Mark and Patent Fees
Following the publication of Official Gazette No. 88 (December 31, 2025), the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) has officially raised its administrative fees for patents and trademarks.
The revised fee schedule applies to new filings and ongoing portfolio maintenance, including renewals and certain post-registration procedures.
Trademark Fees
Trade mark filing fees have been updated as follows:
15,000 DZD for applications without a color claim
16,000 DZD for applications with a color claim
Renewal fees are now:
20,000 DZD without a color claim
25,000 DZD with a color claim
The fee for claiming priority has been set at 5,000 DZD.
Additional class fees remain unchanged:
2,000 DZD per class (up to three classes)
5,000 DZD per class for each class beyond the third
These rates apply to both trademark filings and renewals
Patent Fees
Patent-related fees have also been updated:
Patent filing fee: 15,000 DZD
Publication fee: 10,000 DZD
Later stages of protection now feature higher patent annuity fees:
6th–10th annuity: 10,000 DZD per year
11th–15th annuity: 20,000 DZD per year
16th–20th annuity: 50,000 DZD per year
