Utility Models Now Available in IP Forecaster

Great news! IP Forecaster now supports utility model estimates!

When building a patent/national forecast, the system will now automatically detect which countries in your list offer utility model protection. For each applicable country, a toggle bubble is available so you can select it as a Utility Model filing.

Germany

 The selected countries will be labeled as utility model filings (e.g., Germany Utility Model) and priced accordingly.  Simply click on the Utility Model bubble for that country to designate the filing.

Result

In the Forecast results, those countries selected as Utility Models will display “Utility Model” next to them and the corresponding fees are applied.

This makes it easier to compare utility model and standard patent pathways in a single forecast and make sure you’re not overlooking a faster, lower-cost protection route for your clients.
