WIPO Cuts Trademark Fees for Lao PDR This June

The Lao People’s Democratic Republic is set to lower its individual fees under the Madrid Protocol, effective June 28, 2026, with the new amounts covering applications, subsequent designations, and renewals.

Application Fees
The individual fees for applications and subsequent designations are set to decrease:

  • One class: from CHF 44 → CHF 41

  • Each additional class: CHF 31 → CHF 29

Renewal Fees
Renewal fees will decrease as follows:

  • One class: from CHF 44 → CHF 41

  • Each additional class: CHF 31 → CHF 29
