Egypt Examination Fee Update Effective June 18
The Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority (EGIPA) issued Decree No. 26, published in the Official Gazette No. 132 of 17 June 2025, announcing a substantial increase in patent examination fees.
Examination fees have increased from 25,000 EGP to 50,000 EGP, approximately $490 to $980. The increase became effective on 18 June 2025.
