Bahrain Updates Individual Fees Under the Madrid Protocol

Bahrain has announced upcoming changes to its individual fees under the Madrid Protocol, affecting international applications, subsequent designations, and renewals where Bahrain is designated. The revised fees will take effect on April 12, 2026.

Application Fees

The individual fees for applications and subsequent designations are set to increase:

  • Standard marks (per class): from 1,517 CHF to 1,867 CHF
  • Collective or certification marks (per class): from 1,321 CHF to 1,625 CHF


Renewal Fees

Renewal fees will increase as follows:

  • Standard marks (per class): from 1,517 CHF to 1,867 CHF
  • Collective or Certification marks (per class): from 1,321 CHF to 1,625 CHF
