February Feature Highlight – Publication Lookup Priority Date Double-Check

Public patent data in some cases, isn’t as reliable as one might expect.  With this update, we aim to assist with automated multi-source verification.

With Priority Date Double-Check verification, you can be assured you’re using the proper date for your forecasts.

When you enter a publication number for lookup, we are not only downloading the publication and analyzing the data inputs needed for a forecast.  We are now double-checking the priority date against other public sources to ensure they match.

If a discrepancy is found, the system provides a message notifying you of the anomaly that needs to be verified.  This ensures you are using the correct date for the most accurate forecast results.
