The National Institute of Intellectual Property of Kazakhstan (Qazpatent) has updated its official intellectual property fees, effective 1 January 2026.

The key change affects trademark applications with long lists of goods and services. Under the revised fee structure, additional fees now apply when more than 10 items are listed within a single Nice Classification class.

Trademark Fee Changes

For applications exceeding 10 items in one class, the following additional fees per item apply:

  • €3 per item for standard examination

  • €11 per item for expedited examination

These charges are applied on top of the standard filing and examination fees.
