United States Adjusts Individual Fees for Madrid Trademark Filings Effective April 2026

The United States has confirmed changes to its individual fees under the Madrid Protocol, affecting applications, subsequent designations, and renewals. The changes take effect on April 12, 2026.

Application Fees
The individual fees for applications and subsequent designations are set to decrease:

  • Standard marks (per class): from CHF 530 to CHF 460

Renewal Fees
Renewal fees will decrease as follows:

  • Standard marks (independent of classes): from CHF 287 to CHF 249
