Benchmark Your Foreign Associate Fees
Are your foreign associates charging you more than they should? The only way to know is to compare. Prokurio’s benchmarking feature lets you see how your firm’s fees stack up against the market, country by country, fee by fee. Here’s how it works.
What Does Benchmarking Do?
Benchmarking lets you compare your foreign associate fees against Prokurio’s anonymized and aggregated market data. The data is compiled across the market and presented as benchmark ranges, so you can evaluate your costs with confidence while knowing that everyone’s fee information stays private.
Instead of guessing whether your rates in a particular jurisdiction are competitive, you can quickly see how they compare against the market.
How to Get Started
From the Foreign Firms Dashboard under Custom Fees > Foreign Firms, click Benchmarking in the Firm Management panel. This takes you to the Foreign Associate Benchmarking screen.
Select a Country and a Phase (such as Application, Examination, or Maintenance) and click Compare. The system generates an Associate Cost Comparison chart that shows your fees positioned against anonymized market benchmarks. A red line marks the high end of the market range, and a green line marks the low end, so you can instantly see where your fees fall within that spectrum.
You compare one country at a time, which lets you focus on specific jurisdictions where you want to evaluate your costs.
What the Numbers Show
The chart gives you a clear visual of how your fees compare to the broader market for that country and phase. If your fees are closer to the red line, they may be above the market average. If they’re closer to the green line, you’re on the competitive end.
You can also export the comparison in multiple formats. Click the menu icon on the chart to view it in full screen, print it, or download it as a PNG, JPEG, SVG, CSV, XLS, or PDF. This makes it easy to share the data with your team or include it in internal reviews and RFP evaluations.

Benchmarking gives you the visibility to understand how your fees compare to the market so you can make more informed decisions about your foreign associate relationships.
