This week, we only had a few patent fee updates, thanks to the PCT Applicant’s Guide.

India Patent Fee Updates Effective from September 1

PCT Annex D – International Searching Authority

Search Fee –

  • For companies paying in JPY:
    • Increase from 16,000 JPY to 17,200 JPY

 

  • For individuals paying in JPY
    • Increase from 4,000 JPY to 4,300 JPY

Japan Updates Effective from September 1

PCT Annex D – International Searching Authority

Search Fee –

  • International apps filed in Japanese and paid in EUR or KRW:
    • Decrease from 975 EUR to 953 EUR
    • Decrease from 1,434,000 KRW to 1,287,000 KRW

 

  • International apps filed/translated into English and paid in EUR:
    • Decrease from 1,195 EUR to 1,127 EUR

  • Request: Now 200 CHF
