Setting up default firms helps simplify the forecasting process by automatically applying your predefined selections, reducing manual input, speeding up setup, and ensuring consistency across forecasts.
Let’s add a new default firm.
- From your homepage menu pane on the left side of the screen, click on Setup to expand the menu. Then click on Default Firms.
- Under the Country dropdown, you can use type-ahead to narrow the list, and use the arrow keys to select your choice and press the Enter key.
- Once you have selected the country, you can now select the Law Firm that you want to be the default used when creating a forecast that includes that country.
- Click the Save button to set the Default Law Firm.
- You can also edit and delete the Default Firms by going back to Setup and clicking Default Firms.
- Now, once you select that country, the firm that you selected will be the Default Law Firm and their fees will be used in your forecast.
